How do I make coffee with it?
Just add a packet of Java Juice to hot or cold filtered water for a cup of coffeehouse-quality coffee. It's that easy. Add Java Juice to milk for a fast and easy latte. Adjust to your own taste by adding as much or little liquid for preferred strength. If you want to make a hot coffee drink, ALWAYS heat your liquid first. Then add your Java Juice.
How tough is the package?
Nitrogen flush packaging yields a PSI (pounds per inch) of 200 lbs., so they won't break in your gear kit, luggage, backpacks or purses. Take it in your hand and try to crush it.

When do I use Java Juice® coffee extract?
When you don't have time to brew, Java Juice is ready anytime, anywhere. If you're a coffee connoisseur, Java Juice will meet your standard for "ready brew." Bring it with you on the road, for hotels, or on a distant mountaintop. If you can find clean water, Java Juice will magically transform it into delicious coffee. Sustainability:
We use 100% organic beans, grown and harvested from fairly traded sources. Completely machine-less, there's no gadget to plug in or plastic leftovers to throw away. Java Juice packaging is recyclable and Java Juice extract is 100% premium Arabica coffee extract and nothing else. No additives, preservatives, or sugar.
Coffee On The Go:
Pour your hot or cold water into a cup, travel mug, or thermos. Then add contents of Java Juice® packet and stir. We suggest anywhere from 8 oz. to 12 oz. oz of water to one packet of Java Juice. Depending on personal taste, If you like cream, soymilk or sweetener, add it then. Seven packets of Java Juice in ½ gallon of water will make 8 cups of strong coffee. Experiment with the amount of water to create the perfect brew for you.
Is Java Juice® good for me?
Our products contain no chemicals, or preservatives or shelf stabilizers. That said, depending on how your body responds to caffeine, everyone is different. Every other day a new study is published to either tout or condemn the benefits of coffee. We think it's a great anti-oxidant and like the buzz. But everyone is different, and you know your own sensitivities and habits better than we ever will.
How much caffeine in a single packet of Java Juice®?
100 mg. Or about the same amount found in a double shot of espresso. is fairly traded, kosher, shade-grown and 100% organic. No additives or preservatives. It that can be used as an alternative to brewing, as a gourmet cooking ingredient, for mixed drinks and much, much more. Finally, a single-serving pouch of organic coffee. Made with triple filtered water.
What about the Decaf Java Juice®?
For the remainder of 2012 we will not be producing organic decaf Java Juice.
Plenty of people love coffee for its aroma and flavor, but don't want the caffeine.
At this time the demand for decaf to has not been high enough to warrant the prohibitive costs of extracting organic decaf.
How do you extract juice from a coffee bean?
Think of a Godzilla-sized French press. We start with the finest premium grade 100% Arabica coffee beans, then roast and grind them to perfection, and then through proprietary process, we extract a concentrated liquid, while retaining all of the aroma and body of fresh brewed coffee.
What do you do with the coffee grinds?
The proprietary process has been designed with energy efficiency and environmental concerns in mind. One hundred percent of the extracted coffee waste is press dried and burned to create energy for local utility companies.
“Jack your Joe”
One packet will enhance that cup of mud you got at the gas station. Our shipping department calls it, "Jack your Joe." Adding Java Juice to weaker coffee will definitely amp the caffeine, much like having a 'red eye' at your local coffeehouse.
How do I store it?
Store unused packets in a cool, dry place. Don't leave it exposed to sunlight or heat. It's Already Brewed, so keep it cool until you need it hot! (Or iced)
What is Kosher and Parve?
Kosher literally means fit, or proper. The term kosher is used to describe food and drink that has been prepared in hyper-sanitary conditions. Parve refers to foods that don't contain dairy products. Often the word appears on packages.
Our Story
Java Juice® was developed in Venice, California by master coffee roaster Richard Karno the founder of popular Los Angeles coffee houses, groundwork coffee llc. www.groundworkcoffee.com.
Originally, he created a coffee extract as an efficient way to make iced-blended mocha drinks. With Java Juice extract, the baristas didn't waste time or coffee pulling espresso shots and the Java Juice didn't melt the ice in the blended drinks. The result was a smoother creamier drink with more coffee flavor. Soon Java Juice became the standard at groundwork coffeehouses and customers began to buy it by the quart. Over time, the extract won a devoted following among surfers, body builders, cyclists, bartenders and chefs. Enthusiasm for Java Juice® on the road was so great, the next step was obvious: The portable version. The outdoor retail industry embraced it and we kept on going.
